Recommind has announced a strategic hosting and sales alliance with LexisNexis to provide what it claims will be the industry’s most advanced hosted ediscovery review and analysis platform. The new solution enables rapid deployment of Axcelerate On-Demand, Recommind’s end-to-end ediscovery review platform with its predictive cvoding capabilities. The alliance with Recommind provides LexisNexis clients with more options and greater flexibility in discovery. The US-based service will enable enterprises and law firms to reduce the costs and timelines associated with document review and analysis as part of litigation and regulatory investigations.
Axcelerate On-Demand is the hosted version of Recommind’s Axcelerate Review & Analysis product. It combines all the features of the Axcelerate Review & Analysis on-site software, including predictive analytics, predictive coding, processing, review, analysis and production, with the security, scalability and ease-of use of a hosted solution. Axcelerate On-Demand enables multiple parties to confer and collaborate on a single matter through a secure, centralized web-based interface.

Recommind has moved from eDiscovery to enterprise search and back again. The latest tactic in the firm’s growth strategy is a tie up with LexisNexis. This unit of Reed Elsevier has emerged as one of the leading non US owned firms delivering legal information in America and elsewhere. LexisNexis has been working overtime to cope with changing buying patterns among consumers of high end commercial online content. LexisNexis has branched into new markets, including data analytics and various legal back office services.
Recommind announced in “Recommind Forms Strategic Alliance With LexisNexis for Hosted eDiscovery Service” a new deal with LexisNexis. The idea is to apply the well known online dream of 1+1=2, maybe 3 or more. The Open Society Justice Initiative is calling on the European Court of Human Rights to intervene urgently in the first death penalty case to be tried by U.S. military commissions at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The case concerns Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, a Saudi national.
Al-Nashiri faces charges relating to the bombing of the USS Cole in the Port of Aden in 2000 and other alleged acts. He was detained and tortured at a secret CIA prison in Poland from December 2002 to June 2003, before his ultimate transfer to the U.S. military base at Guantanamo.
