Vermont Law School (VLS's) of Environmental Law Center Summer Session 2011

Reflecting the values of Vermont Law School and its Environmental Law Center, the Summer Session offers students a unique learning experience in an informal atmosphere. A low student-to-professor ratio ensures that faculty and staff are accessible, allowing students the ability to interact with and learn from some of the world’s leading experts in environmental law. Most Summer Session courses limit enrollment to 30 students, which translates into an engaging classroom experience for students. Participants gain a working knowledge of the laws and sciences that form the basis of environmental policy and explore major environmental issues with leading scholars in a collaborative environment.

Students attending the Environmental Law Center’s Summer Session include Vermont Law School JD, MELP, and LLM candidates, as well as students from other law schools and graduate institutions. The Summer Session has also drawn participants from other walks of life, including practicing attorneys, planners, state and federal agency personnel, teachers, and citizen advocates. Read More
